Chin`s Place in Akron

Unfortunately I don't live near here but a friend recommended it when I was in Akron. SNAP this is by far the BEST I have ever had. I will always stop here when I'm in the area, staff was fast and super friendly. Amazing food, if you're debating between this place and another place this hands down is the better choice. Parking was confusing but they do have off street parking. If you're lost and confused like me you can walk over from the Mr. Hero parking lot.

The lunch specials are good here . the food came out quick . The only problem is not a lot of seating . Definitely worth making another trip back again .

I love Chins. The food is fresh to order and you can taste the freshness. The owners and staff are fabulous. They employ local residents. The have a garden out back ...they use fresh ingredients.

Order was lost, but they did a great job getting a new one prepared quickly while I waited - it was a busy night. The food was excellent. There's a dining room but seems like more of a takeout place in my opinion. Either way, definitely recommended.

The woman at the front was very polite and got my order bagged up as soon I arrived. The inside had a small dining area, which was clean and well kept. The food was well priced and tasty, I would definitely return. The parking lot was large and had an outside dining area in the back.

Delicious food and great service. It's become our weekly "go to" for Asian cuisine.

I am homeless and a kind man servicing my vehicle, gave me the money which I used to eat here. I am very grateful for what he did. I have to say the food is delicious through & through. I did not know how generous the serving sizes were when I ordered. I find it a shame I have no refrigerator to store the food in for later. So to this restaurant I want to say thank you for a great meal and I am sorry I could not finish my plate.

Good chinese food cooked fast. There recipes are authentic and taste good.

Everything is fresh and quality. Great prices and portions. Very polite staff and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!

I'm extremely disappointed. If you order from this place, don't get the General Tso. They literally gave me 6 pieces (yes, six) of chicken with a bunch of vegetables and rice. I used to love this place but it's not the same. If ordering carry-out, check your food before you leave. Don't be like me.

Best Chinese food (by far) that we've had since moving to Akron; this is the first time we've ordered from there. We normally eat Chinese food when it's been awhile since we've had it and forget that 9 times outta 10, it's greasy and floppy and overly saucy and generally gross. Not the case with Chin's. I honestly think their eggrolls are the best I've ever had. Good job, Chin's!!

Chins place airways had good service and decent food. Prices are super cheap. Some vegetarian options too.

We just felt the entire visit was mediocre. None of our food was what we'd call piping hot...we've had much better elsewhere.

Had the Mongolian Beef and a egg roll (pork) delicious with some spicy mustard. The Mongolian beef was good with crunchy noodles and rice.

Made my first visit to Chin's. We ordered take out, lunch combo meals. The order was ready when we arrived. Nice, clean, polite staff. They have a large garden where they grow their own produce. Our meals were absolutely delicious! Very fresh flavor, not overloaded with sauce, lots of vegetables. Generous portion for lunch meal. Excellent value, inexpensive. Many vegetarian and vegan choices. Celiac friendly. Will adjust meals for dietary restrictions. Definitely going back! Go! Try Chin's Place for yourself! You will not be disappointed! I'm adding Chin's to my "go to"list!!

Great take out experience. Ordered General Tso chicken. You could smell the freshness of the vegetables and there were even a few mushrooms in there too! Definitely recommend if you're looking for Chinese food in Akron.

it wasnt good. the ehg rolls were good and so was the sweet and sour chicken. but the fried rice was more veggies than rice, and we ordered a small chicken lo mein and got a small and a large AND got charged for it. but i was never told a total so i didnt know we got charged. my kung pao chicken had raw vegetables (not soft) and mostly sauce with hardly any chicken. and i like onions... but not an onion plate.... pretty disappointed qnd wont come again prolly. oh well

I just purchased one of my all time favorites from them which is chicken with mixed veggies. I went to take the first bite and it was absolutely disgusting!!!! Their food is usually good but this time it tastes like reheated chicken. Not fresh!!! The person I was trying to tell this to was very rude and unapologetic. Didn't even offer to remake it. Customers service is something to be desired. It was sweet and kind when the food was being paid for though. To say the least they just lost a loyal customer.

This was our first visit here. Food was fresh and really really good. Alex was waitress and was awesome. She was very pleasant and took good care of us. She took time to answer our questions and explain the menu items. She was super busy and took great care of everyone in the dining room.

One of two Chinese places I frequent in the area. My friend swears by the pork here. Can be a little warm in the summer so be prepared if dining in

Great food .. Good service. And had a friendly staff I have not been to the new location on the north side yet. But the one on market is very good. They have a garden in the back where they grow their own vegetables and also make their own sauce. They have a great selection of lunch specials. I recommend trying it out. It is also very clean. Theire is not usually a wait for dining in but carry out is the main option at this location. I would deff go back again and try other things. It is located a few blocks before downtown akron. Go tell your friends you want to go out and try it. Its not a upscale place but it is a the same quality of food as a higher price place just in a smaller location

We always order from here. We could hear when we placed our call in order it was busy... Food arrived within an hour but was warm at best, we called them back they replaced our entire order without question. As we traded our first order for our second order I tried to explain that we have never had an issue and that the food is always great, he says "All I care about now is if you are happy?" Hell yes I am this is how you run a restaurant.

The food was delivered hot, very good and lots of it. Very fair pricing. We ordered several items and were not disappointed with any of it. We'll definitely be ordering from here again. The delivery driver through Door Dash was awesome too!

Best Chinese food in Akron.

I eat at Chin's Place a couple times a month at least, and am never, ever disappointed. Their curry chicken with potatoes and onions is the single tastiest thing I have ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant anywhere. And oh yeah, the service is friendly, the prices reasonable, etc. :-)

Awesome service and very yummy food

Cant recommend enough. Soups are great, sides are killer, everything just rocks. I could never say enough good about this place.

Food was extremely mushy

I grew up eating chins food. Back when they were in Copley. Excellent choice to eat. Me and my grandfather Charles have loved eating here for years. Rip grandpa. We had a store next to chins. Awesome people and awesome food. U won't be disappointed. Hi Elaine. Its tammy.

Best Chinese spot in Akron. It's not your typical Americanized Chinese food so people are a bit taken back, and they have a sign that says so on their counter. It's closer to authentic and very good!! Highly recommended!

Garden fresh veggies and great house made sauces.Do not let the Google map picture scare you. Construction was almost 2 years ago.During the summer get take out and sit in the garden and enjoy the flowers.
